Robotics & Process Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Hamburg | Start: As of now | Full-time | Focus: Robot-Based 3D Printing Systems

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and optimization of robot-based 3D printing processes
  • Design and evaluation of robot kinematics as carriers for print heads and end effectors
  • Development of motion strategies, path planning, and process logic
  • Commissioning, testing, and optimization of robotic printing systems
  • Close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and software teams
  • Analysis of process parameters to improve print quality and stability
  • Documentation and transfer of processes into robust industrial systems

Your Profile

  • Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or similar
  • Experience with robotic systems or multi-axis motion platforms
  • Strong understanding of kinematics and complex motion control
  • Hands-on, structured working style
  • Very good English or German skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with industrial robots (e.g. KUKA, ABB, FANUC, UR) used as process platforms
  • Knowledge of path planning, trajectories, or robot simulation
  • Background in Additive Manufacturing or special-purpose machinery
